Anne Frank in hiding

Anne Frank, her family and four other Jews hid for two years in a secret annex behind a bookcase at Prinsengracht 263, helped by her father's employees. They were betrayed and arrested in August 1944, and Anne died in Bergen-Belsen in early 1945. Her diary, published by her father, has been translated into more than 70 languages.
